18th Karlsruhe Dialogues – Speakers

Prof. Hasan Elahi is director of Digital Cultures and Creativity at the Honors College of the University of Maryland and associate professor of the Department of Art. Elahi holds a BA from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and an MFA of the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills. As an interdisciplinary artist, he has presented his work in numerous exhibitions at venues such as National Geographic Society, SITE Santa Fe, Centre Georges Pompidou, Sundance Film Festival, Kassel Kulturbahnhof, The Hermitage, and at the Venice Biennale. In 2012 he was honoured by the World Economic Forum as Young Scientist.
