Frol Golivets

Musician (clarinet)

Frol Golivets was born into a musical family in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. He began his musical education when he was six years old at the Republican Music School for Gifted Children K. Bajseitowa. From 2006 to 2008 he studied at the State Music Academy in Almaty. In 2008, Golivets began his studies at the University of Music Karlsruhe in the class of the famous clarinettist Prof. Wolfgang Meyer, as well as in the chamber music class of Prof. Eduard Brunner. Numerous master classes with renowned clarinettists have added to his artistic development. In 2010, Golivets was accepted, with a scholarship, into the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Oberrhein e.V. promotional programme. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Music Karlsruhe. He has performed as a guest musician in various concert halls, including the Theater und Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, the Theater Pforzheim, and the Konzerthaus Karlsruhe. He has also performed as a solo, orchestra, and chamber musician in France, Belgium, and Italy.
