Stanislav Novitskiy

Musician (piano)

Stanislav Novitskiy was born in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, and started playing the piano at the age of five. Later he attended the Republican Music School for Gifted Children K. Bajseitowa. He began performing as a soloist when he was still quite young, and performed several times with the National Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan. In 2007, he began studying at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, in the class of Andreas Pistorius. In 2013, Novitskiy started his postgraduate studies in ‘soloist training’ at the Mannheim University of Music, in the class of Paul Dan. In addition to numerous solo performances, he has also earned prizes from several competitions. In 2004, he won the prize of the youth music festival ‘Mein Europa’ (‘My Europe’). He received additional musical impulses from master classes with Mikhail Voskresensky, Peter Feuchtwanger, Valery Afanassiev, and Felix Gottlieb. In 2016, Novitskiy was accepted into the Live Music Now Rhein-Neckar promotional programme.
