Dr. Enrico Molinaro

Dr. Enrico Molinaro studied at the Department of Political Sciences of the Sapienza University of Rome. He received his PhD at the Department of International Relations of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2006. Molinaro is secretary general and founder of the Italian network for the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue Association for Social Advancement (RIDE-APS). Since 2017 he is head of the Italian network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, based in Alexandria (Egypt), which is co-funded by the European Commission. Moreover, since 2000 he is founder, organiser, and fundraiser of the non-profit research centre Mediterranean Perspectives and of the Jerusalem Holy Places Center (JHPC), as well as primary coordinator of international scholarly conferences and second track negotiations with the participation of academic, diplomatic, religious and political authorities. Molinaro has published several books and research articles on the jurisdiction in international law, models of collective identity in Europe, the Mediterranean, and the BRICS organisation, as well as on European Defense. Furthermore, since 1999 he is lecturer at different undergraduate and postgraduate university courses in English, French, Spanish, Hebrew, and Italian in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
