Sustainability Spring Days at KIT
Project days on sustainability in science, studies, work, and everyday life
28th – 31th of March 2022
Sustainability is one of the top topics of our time, everybody talks about it, everybody wants to be involved. But what does "sustainable development" or "sustainability research" actually mean? Has the discussion about sustainable development been brought to a standstill by Covid-19 or has the sustainability discourse been given a real boost by the pandemic? Which developments are part of sustainable development and which are not?
At the Sustainability Spring Days at KIT 2022 we want to pursue these and other questions and explore how science can contribute to understanding and fostering the sustainability of technical, social, and ecological systems and how sustainability research itself can become an active driver of sustainable development. Participants will have the opportunity to take critical views on socially relevant issues and personal behavior and discuss controversial topics in lectures, workshops, and excursions. In addition, participants can establish personal contacts and exchange ideas with companies and regional players of the sustainability scene.
The Sustaibability Spring Days at KIT are open to all interested in sustainable development. No previous knowledge is required for participation and guest auditors are welcome.
