Unfortunately, the keynote speech „Climate Change 4.0 – Digitalisation and Socio-Ecological Transformation“ could not be held by Prof. Dr. Tilman Santarius. Instead, the keynote speech of the official opening of the Sustainability Spring Days was held by Prof. Dr. Paula Maria Bögel.

Prof. Dr. Paula Maria Bögel is concerned with human behaviour in socio-technical transformations in her work. In transdisciplinary projects, she especially deals with the topics of sustainable urban and regional development, transformation research and a holistic, inclusive energy transition. Paula Bögel studied Business Psychology and Management & Marketing at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. From 2018 to 2019 she worked as a Senior Researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and as a postdoc at the Chair of Human Behaviour & Sustainable Development at Leuphana University Lüneburg. From 2019 to the beginning of 2022, she worked at the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) of KIT. Currently, she is an endowed professor at the research cluster "Sustainability-Oriented Transformation Research in Rural Areas" at the University of Vechta. |
