The movement of people and goods is a central need of a globalised society and economy. Forecasts predict a global multiplication of passenger and freight transport in the coming decades. On the other hand, the long-term goal is to become more sustainable by avoiding, shifting or improving transport. Many countries are therefore currently focussing on electromobility. However, a pure drive turnaround will not be able to solve the complexity of the issue. Instead, a holistic, interdisciplinary approach is needed to overcome the mobility-related challenges of the future. The goal must therefore be sustainable, barrier-free, fair and safe mobility at all levels, which is accepted by society in its entirety. The question therefore arises - what will this mobility look like? These and other questions will be discussed by experts at the public panel discussion.
