InhaltWe have all witnessed and some have joined the global engagement on climate change in the past years. According to ‘Climate Outreach’, to further sustain this unprecedented public concern and adopt much-needed policies, there is an urgent need to overcome polarization on climate change and speed-up the change of damaging behaviours. It is also crucial to consider how the Coronavirus pandemic has been affecting the climate change communication and activism.

In this seminar, we want to address these challenges by focusing on talking about climate change beyond the “green bubble” and in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will critically analyse various studies and create a supportive environment to practice constructive discussions on climate change in everyday life – with family, friends, neighbours, fellow community members, or strangers. We will also consider the elements of non-verbal communication – think about communication by example, as one of such forms.
